POLIKARPOV UPDATE

Andy Preslent has been working on the Polikarpov continuously now for the past few weeks and as you can see from the pictures, it is progressing well.

The wings, which have been made by an outside contractor, have now been returned to us and are now being fitted to the fuselage. When the wings are fitted to Andy’s satisfaction properly, all will be dismantled and then back into A P’s workshop for the covering to be applied by Andy and Ken Hyde. Then the painting and lettering, will be applied. After several ground runs and an air test, we should have a flyable Polikarpov for everyone’s enjoyment.
